This wine is a blend of 70% Nero d’Avola and 30% Frappato di Vittoria, grown at an altitude of about 450m.
The grapes are co-fermented and aged for around a year in 500 and 225 liter barrels of multiple uses.
In the glass, it shows a vibrant ruby red color.
The nose offers ripe red fruit notes of wild cherry, black cherry, blueberry, wild rose, and a hint of spice, with earthy forest undertones.
On the palate, it is soft, juicy, and medium-bodied, with well-polished, medium-intensity tannins. Freshness balances the richness and aromatic intensity, leading to good persistence.
Ready to drink now, it has potential for further aging.
