This Chianti Rufina DOC is crafted from Sangiovese, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon, aged for 24 months in wooden barrels.
In the glass, it shows a deep ruby hue.
The nose offers medium+ intensity, with aromas of ripe cherry, black cherry, plum, violet, and dried flowers. Hints of leather, forest floor, and subtle green pepper add complexity.
On the palate, it has good structure, polished tannins, and a solid body. A note of black pepper enhances the flavors, while a touch of salinity accompanies the moderately persistent finish.
