This high quality Barolo is the entry-level of this renowned producer.
It is crafted from 100% Nebbiolo sourced from three vineyards within MGA areas in the commune of Barolo, situated between 380 and 480 meters above sea level.
The name “Albe” (sunrises) reflects the varied exposures of these sites, each greeting the sun from a different perspective.
In the glass, it shows a pale ruby hue.
The nose reveals classic aromas of cherry, rose, and hints of cinnamon and vanilla, with a delicate note of forest floor.
On the palate, it combines elegance and power, with noticeable tannins that still require time to evolve and refine. The acidity is medium+, offering good balance and aromatic intensity. Alongside the aromas from the nose, a subtle orange note emerges, adding complexity.
The finish is persistent and promises further development in the coming years, as the wine matures in bottle to reveal its full potential.
