Barolo DOCG – Cannubi 2019 – Marchesi di Barolo

A well-known Barolo from the iconic Cannubi MGA, one of the most celebrated crus in this prestigious DOCG.

The wine displays a luminous pale ruby hue with garnet reflections.

On the nose, it immediately reveals elegance and complexity. Floral notes of violet and rose petals intertwine with crisp red fruit aromas of cherry and raspberry, complemented by subtle hints of undergrowth, truffle, and sweet spices.

On the palate, it is full-bodied yet remarkably refined. The tannins are present but polished, supported by vibrant acidity. The aromatic profile mirrors the nose, enriched by mineral undertones and a delicate salinity that enhances its intensity.

This is a harmonious wine with both power and elegance.

The finish is long and persistent, marked by a lingering mineral note.

While already a delight to drink, it has the potentiyal to evolve gracefully for many years to come.
