Made from 100% Sagrantino, aged 33 months in oak barrels and at least 4 months in bottle.
Deep, impenetrable ruby with slight violet hues.
The nose reveals blackberry, crisp cherry, with wood notes and a touch of black pepper and smoky spice.
On the palate, it opens soft, warm, and full-bodied, followed by the variety’s signature powerful, almost astringent tannins, not fully balanced by good acidity.
Leaning toward firmness, it has a moderately long finish marked by intense tannins.
Best paired with rich dishes, traditional Umbrian cuisine, or a charcuterie board.
