Breganze DOC – Torcolato 2022 – Maculan

This passito wine is made from 100% Vespaiola grapes grown in the Breganze area. The grapes are vinified in steel after being left to dry for about a month in a dedicated drying room, followed by a year of maturation in French oak barrels (one-third new and two-thirds second-use).

Intense amber yellow in color, it offers an aromatic bouquet of ripe fruit, dried apricot, mango, broom, vanilla, saffron, honey, candied fruit, and caramel. On the palate, it is sweet yet very fresh, warm, smooth, and well-structured. The flavors mirror the nose, with mango and honey standing out, and a lingering bitter almond note on the finish. Its sweetness, perfectly balanced by freshness, creates a harmonious and persistent finale.

Already delightful today, it also holds the potential to surprise and evolve beautifully over the years.
