Strada Corniolo by Villa Papiano is a refined white wine made from Trebbiano Romagnolo grown on marl and sandstone soils at high altitudes (450–570 m) in the Apennines of Emilia-Romagna.
The wine is organically and biodynamically farmed, fermented with native yeasts, and aged for eight months on fine lees in concrete tanks. No malolactic fermentation is carried out, preserving the wine’s taut acidity and purity of fruit.
On the nose, it opens with aromas of lemon zest, yellow apple, chamomile, and wildflowers, accompanied by a touch of mint and dried herbs.
The palate is bright and linear, with saline minerality and a mouthwatering freshness. It’s light to medium in body, with a clean finish that leaves lingering citrus and floral impressions.
Elegant and expressive, it showcases the finesse and personality of its mountain terroir.
