This Barbaresco DOCG, made from Nebbiolo grapes sourced from estate vineyards in the communes of Treiso and San Rocco Seno d’Elvio, is aged for 30 months in a combination of large French and Slavonian oak casks, with a small portion in barriques.
Pale ruby in color with garnet reflections, it opens with an elegant bouquet of ripe forest fruits, mature cherry, balsamic tones, and sweet spices. On the palate, it’s full-bodied and round, with firm, well-structured tannins and lively acidity. Juicy and powerful, it lingers with a persistent finish where the balsamic note returns.
Already enjoyable, this Barbaresco has the structure and depth for graceful aging.
