A Barolo made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes from the Bussia cru in Monforte d’Alba, aged for at least 24 months in oak barrels.
Its pale ruby color leans towards garnet.
On the nose, it opens with violet and dried rose, followed by rich aromas of red berry jam, plum, and wild berries. Tertiary notes of undergrowth, spices, and a hint of dark chocolate add complexity.
The palate is full-bodied yet refined, with firm, silky tannins, vibrant acidity, and intense flavors of iron and blood orange.
The long finish leaves a lingering touch of licorice.
