Boca DOC – 2021 – Tenute Guardasole

This Boca DOC, made from 80% Nebbiolo and 20% Vespolina grown on volcanic soils at 460-490 meters, is vinified in steel and aged for 34 months, including 18 in oak barrels.

It shows a pale ruby-red color with garnet hues.

The nose is intense with violet, rose, dried herbs, pepper, eucalyptus, iodine, and dried mushroom.

On the palate, it is smooth and full-bodied, with flavors of bitter orange, blood orange, and geranium. Youthful tannins and high acidity lead to a long, savory finish with a firm tannic structure.
