This Roero DOCG, made from 100% Nebbiolo grown in the Canale area, is aged for 32 months, including 12-14 months in large casks and barriques, with the remainder in bottle.
In the glass, it displays a luminous medium-intensity ruby red color.
The nose is dominated by red fruit, particularly raspberry, with hints of blackberry and a delicate undertone of violet.
On the palate, it offers good body with evident, evolving tannins and refreshing acidity. Floral notes come through more distinctly on the palate, followed by red fruit that lingers in a long, satisfying finish.
A well-made wine, still youthful, with promising potential for further aging.
