Tasted at the booth, poured by the amazing Elisabetta Foradori herself. Morei is a 100% Teroldego, cultivated with biodynamic principles and aged in terracotta amphorae (Spanish tinajas).
In the glass, it shows a deep, intense ruby color with purple highlights. The nose is elegant, complex, and vibrant, revealing cherry, sour cherry, blackberry, dried flowers, undergrowth, earth, and hints of clove and pepper.
On the palate, it’s dry, medium-bodied, with crisp fruit, good acidity, and excellent balance. A touch of salinity and minerality adds depth. The tannins, though firm, are already polished, emerging mid-sip and carrying into the long, pleasant finish.
A wine that’s already enjoyable but promises further evolution in the bottle.
