Bardolino Chiaretto Classico DOC – Chiar’Otto 2023 – Villa Calvesano

Made from Corvina, Rondinella, Molinara, and Sangiovese, this wine comes from 50-year-old vines in Bardolino, near Lake Garda in Veneto.

Fermentation and aging take place in oak vats and barriques.

The color is a pale onion skin with delicate orange hues.

On the nose, it offers medium intensity with clear notes of small red fruits, strawberry, orange, grapefruit, and hints of potpourri.

The palate is defined by its freshness, with citrus notes taking center stage. The body is light to medium, leaning slightly toward sharpness, though tannins remain subtle.

The finish is moderately long.
