This Crémant d’Alsace from Vieil Armand is made using the traditional method from a blend of Pinot Blanc and Auxerrois.
It pours a pale lemon-yellow color with fine and persistent bubbles.
On the nose, it offers delicate aromas of white-fleshed fruit—pear, apple, lemon, and subtle floral hints as well as bread notes.
The palate is dry, fresh, and well-balanced, with a gentle creaminess from the lees aging and a clean finish and butter notes.
Light and elegant, it is a perfect aperitif wine, but can also accompany seafood or light desserts. Serve chilled between 7 and 9°C to best enjoy its finesse.
