Maison Orcia Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2020 is a red wine that faithfully expresses the power and complexity typical of this southern Rhône appellation.
Made from Grenache, Mourvèdre, and Syrah grapes, it shows a deep ruby color with marked violet hues.
On the nose, it opens with intense aromas of ripe black fruits, plum, and cherry in spirit, layered with black pepper, licorice, and a subtle balsamic note. Hints of undergrowth and mushroom add depth and earthiness.
On the palate, it is full-bodied, warm, and enveloping, with firm yet well-integrated tannins and a long, slightly ethereal finish marked by touches of Provençal herbs and sweet tobacco.
The 2020 vintage is balanced, already expressive, yet clearly built for further development in the coming years.
