Bolgheri DOC Superiore – Argentiera 2021 – Argentiera

Deep and impenetrable ruby in the glass, this Bolgheri DOC Superiore—crafted from 48% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot, and 7% Cabernet Franc grown around 200 meters above sea level—makes an immediate impression in this vintage.

Aged 14–16 months in barriques, tonneaux, and large oak casks, plus 12 months in bottle, it reveals an intense, layered nose despite its youth. Aromas unfold gradually: crisp forest berries, cherry, plum, underbrush, Mediterranean herbs, spice, tobacco, toasted wood, balsamic hints, and subtle green nuances.

The palate mirrors that complexity—full-bodied, smooth, and expansive, with silky tannins, high aromatic intensity, and a perfect balance between freshness and richness.

Long, persistent finish where ripe fruit and smoky notes linger beautifully.
