Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Riserva – 123 2019 – Patrizia Cencioni

A pure expression of Sangiovese from a single vineyard in Montalcino, crafted by an all-female winery. Aged for 48 months in 20hl Slavonian oak, this Brunello Riserva exudes depth and refinement.

In the glass, its deep, luminous ruby hue sets the stage. The nose is intense, layered with violet, dried flowers, and refined oak, followed by notes of black cherry, wild berries, tobacco, and spice.

On the palate, it is bold, enveloping, and impeccably structured. Firm yet polished tannins support a vibrant core of fruit, balanced by freshness and a subtle saline touch. The finish is long and fruit-driven, with an elegant hint of licorice.

A Brunello of great personality and persistence, powerful yet sophisticated, with years of evolution ahead.
