Barolo 2020 – Ravera 2020 – Sordo

Barolo from the MGA Ravera in Novello is a pure and precise expression of its terroir.

After vinification, it    2 to 4 months in stainless steel, followed by 24 months in large Slavonian oak casks and further refinement in steel and bottle.

In the glass, it shows a pale ruby color.

The nose is intense and layered, offering violet, crisp cherry, ripe red berries, forest floor, sweet spices, tobacco, and a subtle oak presence.

On the palate, it strikes a perfect balance between power and elegance, with firm yet polished tannins, medium+ body, bright acidity, and intense aromatics.

A hint of salinity enhances the long, persistent finish, adding complexity and depth.

While already refined, this Barolo will continue to evolve beautifully, gaining harmony and nuance over the years.

A true representation of Novello’s Ravera cru, built for those who appreciate structure and longevity in Nebbiolo.
