The Crémant de Bordeaux Brut Haut-Mouleyre is a sparkling wine made using the Traditional Method, with a blend of 60% Sémillon and 40% Merlot grapes.
Château Haut-Mouleyre is located in Escoussans, in the Entre-Deux-Mers area of Bordeaux. The vineyard stretches across rolling hills, intersected by the Mouleyre stream, creating an ideal environment for growing high-quality grapes.
This Crémant is crafted following the Traditional Method, which involves a secondary fermentation in the bottle. After the base wine is made and the blend is created, a mixture of sugar and yeast is added, triggering the secondary fermentation. The wine is then aged on its lees in the bottle for at least 12 months, giving it complexity and finesse.
In the glass, it has a golden-yellow hue with fine, persistent bubbles. On the nose, it offers a fruity bouquet dominated by exotic fruits and citrus notes.
The palate is fresh and lively, with a delightful fruity character and a creamy, smooth mousse.
The finish is long and persistent, with a lovely emphasis on yellow fruits.
An elegant and refreshing Crémant that’s perfect for any occasion!
